Admissions Counselor

Your admissions counselor will be your point of contact from your first call and will also guide you when you arrive at our luxury treatment center in Malibu. The counselor will:

• Explain the total cost of treatment and the terms of payment.
• Help with insurance support.
• Will arrange your transportation to Serenity and provide any other help if needed.
• Brief you on what to bring for your inpatient drug rehab stay and what to leave at home.
• Answer any other questions that you may have.

The admissions counselor will greet you upon arrival and guide you through the first steps before the program begins. A client advocate will accompany the counselor and will help in your orientation, provide necessary materials, and explain your treatment schedule.

Shortly after arrival, you will undergo a thorough medical assessment under the supervision of one of our MDs who will check if you need detoxification.

Depending upon the severity of your addiction, you may have to rest more initially, but our goal is to get you moving through the treatment as comfortably and quickly as possible. High-quality gourmet meals prepared by our executive chefs are served to you and snacks and drinks are available between meals.
